Heh. "A show of good faith." Because they're at a trade show. And it's a line in the caption. Hilarious, right? I'm telling you, I should name video game achievements for a living.
Anyway, I don't commonly post captions with backgrounds quite this "busy," and I'm still on the fence as to whether it's a good move, but my hope was that it would lead to a more "in the moment" feel for these captions with little backstory.
Also, bonus points (disclaimer: there are no points) to anyone who's noticed that the little preview images don't always exactly match a section of the full images. That way, readers can get a preview that better reflects the full content than a simple cut-out would.

ReplyDeletethe preview image is a neat idea and very much appreciated. It works great as a teaser, compared to the usual caption thumbnails one sees elsewhere, and really wants to make one read your great caps! You have a lovely style :)
