Of course, comments remain an excellent avenue for more detailed or specific reactions; if you'd like to explain or elaborate upon your vote, there's no better place to do so than right there in the comments. (bear in mind that an account is not necessary—anonymous comments are perfectly okay!) That said, for those who, understandably, don't want to take the time to write out an entire comment, the new buttons should provide a simple, one-click way to provide valuable feedback, and I'd really appreciate it if you'd consider giving it a try! Plus, it helps you, too; if I can see a certain type of caption is particularly well received, there's a good reason to make more with those elements, resulting in more updates that make you glad you checked in. Everybody wins!
So please, give them a try! Anyway, for those who follow the blog, I wouldn't want to disappoint you by pushing an update without a fresh caption, so here's a new caption inspired by the aforementioned voting system.
Why not use the new buttons to tell me what you think?
Democracy Has Spoken
Great caption. Where is this image from I'm really curious of the actual context of the board behind the girl.
ReplyDeleteThe thing is, this isn't really from a single image with an parallel context. The girl, chair, backdrop, and results board are all from separate sources, that last being entirely made up in photoshop. But to answer your question as best I can, in the original photo of the girl, there was nothing like a board at all; she was actually in a bathroom, sitting on a bidet, just kind of looking over toward the sink.
DeleteI figured it was photoshop but thought I'd ask, thanks.
